« Paul Corner announces AXIS 1.2.1 packages for BDI4 | Newest entries | Where's my AXIS 1.3? »

I haven't prepared a full changelog, but there's a new release of AXIS coming up. The most exciting feature is the improved backplot. In older versions, the accuracy of the backplot was tied to the redraw rate, which could be very low (1-4FPS). Now, the commanded position of the screen is polled approximately every 10ms (though not in realtime), which leads to a huge visual improvement.

The screenshot shows the 'cds' test program being run in the simulator with 900% feed override to exaggerate the corners. Even when the AXIS window is maximized on my high-resolution screen (1920x1200) the curves look good.
